  1. I attended East Side but did not graduate there. Can I still register?
Of Course! However, do enter the graduation year as if you finished at East Side, not the year you left. That way you will be properly grouped with your peers.
Faculty and Parents are also encouraged to register!
  2. How do I register?
Click on the Alumni Roster icon. At the top of the Roster page you will see an icon for adding/updating data. Click on that icon and follow the screens through setting up a new record. You might want to bookmark the page for future updates: http://www.eshalumni.org/db/register.cfm.
  3. What sort of information should I put out there?
As much or as little as you like. We do require a graduation year and an email address. If you don't have email please put out an address or phone number so we can locate you!
  4. I don't mind you having my address but I don't want the whole world to see it!
There is a "Publish on Internet Y/N" flag designed specifically for that. Set it to No and we will keep your demographics off-line. The information will never to distributed to non-ESH entities (junk mailers).
  5. Can I register other alumni for whom I have address information?
Yes. However, I recommend setting the Publish Information flag to No unless you have their permission to put demographic data out on the web.
  6. How can I look up a classmate?
I refer you again to the Roster icon.  From there you can jump specifically to a year by clicking on it. The system will build a list of all current records. Find your classmate and click on the name to see the information available. Email links are provided where available so just click on it and send them a note!
You can also search by name, state and/or date registered.
  7. What if my classmate is not listed?
We are trying to keep the alumni roster down to just those people we have information on. With the list already approaching 500 we do not want to load out every graduate's name. While some people have loaded out all their classmates' names we discourage this since it takes up disk space and increases our monthly costs.
  8. If found my classmate but there is little or no information listed.
Send me an email. They may have the "Publish Information" flag set to No. I can contact them and have them call you.
  9. If someone is not listed how can I find them?
Click on the Links icon and you will find links to several search utilities and web sites that might be used to track down someone. I've had some success with YellowPages and College Alumni Offices. Don't give up, tracking down old friends is what makes it fun!
  10. Can I post comments or questions?
Yes. We have a Forum for just such input. This is also a place to post that "Looking for......" note. Browse the Forum and see some examples.
  11. What about Class Reunions?
The Upcoming Events icon takes you to a list of known activities. If you are organizing a reunion drop me a note and I will update this page.
  12. I want to send a note to all my classmates
When you register at the site your name and email address are automatically added to a mailing list for your class. To send a message to all your classmates go to the roster and click on your graduation year. A list of registered alumni will be retrieved. At the top of the list will be a line that allows you to send a note to all of the registered alumni for that particular year.
  13. Can I send in photos?
Yes. Photos from reunions, etc. are always welcome. Please send a caption detailing who is in the photo. The system also supports attaching "before" and "after" photos to the alumnus' record. The "before" picture is usually the graduation photo out of the yearbook while the "after" is a current day view into how you "evolved". Volunteers are helping to scan in the "before" images which will be loaded out over time.
  14. How can I help?
While we have no formal dues, contributions are always accepted and help defer the costs of maintaining the site. For detail information click on Helping Support the Site on the site's home page.

If you would like to add a question to this list please email me!
